About
Carla Haslbauer (1994) was born in Frankfurt am Main and grew up in the small town of Bad Nauheim. She has been working as a freelance illustrator in Basel since graduating in Illustration Fiction from the Lucerne School of Art & Design.
She writes and illustrates for children's books and designs event posters.
As a member of the comic collective Cornercollective, she also regularly works on comic projects. She finds her inspiration in nature and the everyday happenings around her. She also likes to dig into her childhood memories and finds many a story worth telling.
